The best selling class of drugs is for heartburn and acid reflux.
Antacids and other acid blockers are prescribed and eaten like they
are an essential nutrient. From what I have seen in my office, they
are totally unnecessary. I had a patient with 30 years of heartburn
take a supplement that gets to the cause of the problem. His heartburn
was gone within 2 weeks, and nothing had helped him before. He told
a group of 40 people in my presence,"I just had a doughnut and coffee.
Normally, I would be feeling a burning right here (pointing to his
stomach), but I don't have that anymore because of what Dr. Schmidt
has given me." I also had a patient in her mid-forties who had heartburn
since age 8. She said to the same group, "You should see what I
can eat at night now. Pizza, chips, cookies, all before going to
bed, and I have no more heartburn!" My thought was "I've created
a monster." Just because you can eat junk food doesn't mean that
you should; however, she was enjoying a new freedom in her good
health that she missed for most of her life.
A young sixteen year old patient had been in the emergency room
three times in the summer of 1998 due to her stomach pain. Her medical
bill was between $7,000-$9,000 but she had gotten no relief. I appreciate
the efforts of the medical establishment to rule out disease, but
simple things like nutrition are ignored. I put her on 1 bottle
of supplements that got to the cause of her pain. She ate two bottles'
worth in the following weeks. Her pain went away and never came
back, even when I saw her again three years later for another health
concern. My total bill was less than $500. The supplement I used
is not some Amazon jungle herb or exotic Chinese root that you burn.
It was a combination of whole-food nutrients that came from Standard
Procees nutritional supplement company in Wisconsin. The product
has been around since 1959. It most definitely should be on the
shelf of every doctor who claims to treat heartburn. (Be advised
that I don't treat any symptoms, I treat the body which heals itself.)
Herbal Remedies Patients
"Dementia" is a scary symptom to witness. To see your strong father
or mother lose their mental capacity can be difficult. Some patients
of mine brought in their 73 year old mother whose mental clarity
and functions were beginning to fail. Energy analysis showed that
she needed some good essential fatty acids. She was already on billberry
and ginkgo to open up small and medium sized arteries. In the following
2 months, her husband died in the hospital. Before his passing,
she spent time there visiting and communicating with sign language
since both of them were deaf. All the while, another deaf couple
was on the floor visiting their loved one. The other couple mentioned
to the son that they noticed a change in her as the weeks passed.
She was communicating better, her thoughts were more clear, she
was brighter and "waking up". The son explained that it was the
supplements that were helping her to become lifted out of the fog
that is dementia.
G.M. complained of severe fatigue of 6 months. He was referred
into the office by a friend of his. He and his friend had not seen
each other in a long time. When she asked him how he was doing,
his exact words to her were “I’m dying”. The fatigue had happened
several times in the past lasting days to weeks. Spending time in
bed allowed him to recover; however, this current bout of fatigue
was not going away. He was not able to walk for more than a half
mile. He was also complaining of painful headaches of 2 weeks duration
and heartburn for the last three days. He had had a pain under the
left scapula that feelt like a knot. He had recently suffered from
the flu and was in bed and out of work for 6 weeks. Energy analysis
showed a virus allergy reflex. The location of the virus allergy
was the spleen. It was causing the pain in the scapula. It was probably
causing the heartburn and headache secondarily. He also tested for
digestive support. One week later he said the headache was only
a dullness, he had had no heartburn all week and his left scapular
pain was less. He was able to a walk the 1 mile trail at work three
times in the last week with no fatigue and no shaking of the knees
which he had experienced before. He was very encouraged about the
improvement of his health. After 8 months of treatment, he was working
out and walking 5 days a week. He had walked 36 holes of golf in
one day while his friends rode in a cart. He had gotten the flu
and kicked it within 24 hours. He was feeling much better. What
increased his health was very simply diet and nutritional supplements."
In the summer of 2002, I had a patient complain to me about eczema.
I looked up eczema in my manuals and muscle-tested her. I recommended
one supplement to improve the function of her stomach. She reported
that her eczema cleared up in one day.
A patient complained of a very sore tongue with red blotches of
inflammation for 25 years. She had tried many, many treatments to
fix the problem. She had even been to a Chinese Doctor who does
tongue diagnosis. After listening to her story and testing her energetically,
I determined that she had an imbalance of yeast in her intestines.
The mucous membranes of the mouth and anus are a reflection of what's
going on inside the digestive tract. If she has inflammation on
her tongue, then she has inflammation in her stomach and small intestines.
I put her on 4 supplements to rehabilitate her gut. Five days later,
when we talked on the phone, she said that her tongue pain was 50%
reduced and the red blotches were gone except for one. At the time
of this writing, I expect a full and permanent recovery.
